Transit Visa is no longer required for UK residents holding a valid UK Biometric Residence Permit to travel through German Airports.
Here is some good news regarding the transit visa requirements for Non-British passport holders traveling via Germany.
As of June 28th, 2024, UK residents holding a valid UK Biometric Residence Permit will NO longer require a transit visa to travel through German airports. This information has been officially published on the German Embassy website.

This new rule is great news for passengers, as it will now be possible to book flights with Lufthansa and travel via Frankfurt or Munich airports without worrying about obtaining a transit visa.
