BEM-VINDO À REPÚBLICA DE CABO VERDE

CAPE VERDE or CABO VERDE (Portuguese) is officially called the REPUBLIC OF CABO VERDE. This is an island country located  in the westernmost point of continental Africa. Its capital and largest city is Praia and its official language is  Portuguese. A citizen of Cape Verde is called a Cape Verdean.

Cape Verde is a member of the ECOWAS so it is visa free for Nigerian passport holders.

A proof of good funding alongside other basic travel documents is required for entry.

Cape Verde is a country consisting of islands so this makes it a hot destination for tourism. They speak Portuguese and lots of its citizens speak French too.

Cabo Verde Airlines is an international airline based in sal Island, Cape Verde. However, there are no direct flights from Nigeria. You would have to take a connecting flight from Nigeria to the Nelson Mandela International Airport in Praia, Cape Verde.

Restaurante Barracuda is a beautiful spot right on the beach. They have great menu choices. Their cuisines are European, Southwestern .

OCaranguejo is a great restaurant. Their cuisines are Grill, Seafood, Pizza, Italian, Portuguese.

Salinas de Pedra de Lume is a geological spectacle on the island of Sal. It is famous for its salt lakes which make swimmers float. The salty lake is claimed to be healing and therapeutic.
